Famous in France!

I finished another Art Journal page last night and posted it quite late on 2Ps. To my surprise, by this morning it had made an appearance on a French Scrapbooking website! That has got to be the fastest publication ever! I would never have known about this unless my good 2Ps pal Is@ had not sent me a little E-Mail this morning:

I never thought that I would be famous in France! If I am reading this right, (and my French is NOT the greatest) they've featured my work despite the fact that it is not Scrapbooking related, because they like the colours! :o)  I am so pleased - this is my first 'published' work, albeit unofficially ! 

A Woman of Passion - Art Journal

I've decided to start keeping an Art Journal. I keep seeing wonderful pages in galleries that people have been putting together for their own Art Journals and I like the idea of using it as a way to experiment in using different colours and designs and freeing up my own creativity so that I become much looser. My first page is predominantly red and black which is not normally a colour combination that I use. It's also slightly 'grungy' which is also something that I am not used to creating. However, I'm pleased with it, and already it's got me thinking about some funky Christmas and Valentine's designs that could spin off from the overall layout and design elements.

The theme of the Journal will be a mixture of my personality and things that I delight in. I'm looking forward to doing  my next page - I think Bluebirds and that Birdcage might be making an appearance again! LOL
