Caterpillar Card

I made this little caterpillar out of Aud's 'spot' stamps, he looked such a cheery chappy that I though he would make a nice childrens Birthday Card.

Inks: Staz-On in Timber Brown, Colorbox Chalk ink in Lime Pastel, French Blue and Olive Pastel

H2O's: Pink Azalea, Olive Vine, Kiwi, Navajo Pearl & Periwinkle

Other Items: Black marker  and Quickutz letters in Khaki Font (which I managed to buy for just £30 from E-Bay!) and swirls.

Hello Girlfriend!

I seem to have built up a massive stock of papers from my Self-Addressed kits and so this was an attempt to try and use some of them. The papers and Aud's stamps have a Folky feel to them so they complemented each other perfectly!

Birthday Butterflies

Just a card I put together this morning for my Birthday stocks. The background was inked and stamped using distress inks in Shabby Shutters and Peeled Paint. The Flowers and Butterflies were coloured using watercolour pencils.

It's a Boy!

This is just a quick card that I put together last night because I just found out that some work colleagues had their baby at the weekend. I'm afraid I shamelessly stole Godelieve's idea of stamping the message label on vellum. Thanks for the idea Godelieve! The pretty owl paper came from last Month's Self-Addressed kit - I think it's by Sassafrass Lass. It has a sort of cute, modern Japanese feel, a bit like Hello Kitty I think!

Gnome Sweet Home

Sometimes you get those little free stamps as part of an order that you just don't know what you are going to do with. This little Gnome stamp was just such a stamp. It was included in an order from 100 Proof Press. Luckily Aud's stamps provided the perfect solution - a Gnome House!

New Home Card

 

Aud's new stamps finally arrived on Monday so I cut them all out last night and tonight I decided to have a little play. I had been planning this card ever since I saw what the new stamps would look like! I think it makes a cute New Home card!

I have a big project to work on this coming weekend, lucky it's a 3 day weekend!(we have a Bank Holiday on Monday)  I've been planning a gift for someone who's celebrating a Big Birthday soon and I need to get this present done in time to take with me to their Birthday party the following weekend. Fortunately the supplies I ordered to help me make the gift also arrived this week and I think I'm going to mix in some of Aud's stamps to help with the design.

Strawberry Time!

I had great fun doing this one. It's been in my head for about 2 weeks now, so I knew I had to do it and I'm pleased with the results. What really helped was getting my Self-Addressed kit this week and finding that it had the perfect red Polka dot paper in the pack to use as a basis for this card. I really like this paper, I may have to have more, so I'm going to have to work out who makes it because there is nothing on the back to tell me!

Baby Quilt Card

Another Aud Design card, this time taking the quilt idea further by using paper weaving and faux stitching to create the illusion of a patchwork quilt. All patterned paper is by K & Company

Country Garden Card

For this card I was trying to recreate a pretty floral Quilt with faux stitching and paper applique. This is another Aud Design card.
