104!

Yes, that's right! I now have 104 surveys submitted! Thank you to everyone for helping me, I am so touched that this many people wanted to help me out! I also think it might also be an indication that you all believe that there is enough room in the market for another stamp company, especially here in the UK.

The quality of the data that this survey has generated in terms of market research has been invaluable! I haven't done all the analysis yet, but already I am seeing a clear distinction in what people are looking for based on country markets! The US folks seem to want one thing, the UK another and the Dutch, something else again. However, I don't see that this is a problem, I actually see this as an opportunity! What all you agree on though is that you want GREAT service and that poor Website design is what puts you off most about On-line stamp companies.

Thank you to everyone for taking part, especially to the UK message board and the Dutch stamping group that I don't actually belong to! Thank you also to the three Australians who also took part! Knowing that you were willing to support this venture has been truly inspiring!

I know that I said that I would not be posting for a while, but I just had to give you an update on my survey. In case you may have not noticed, at the top right hand side of this blog there is a link to my marketing survey. The survey was only created and linked to the blog on Monday 1st May and already I have received 8 responses!

I need to aim for a survey participation rate of around 100 people in order to build a really good marketing plan and Business case to put in front of Scottish Enterprise (a Govt. funded organization who help new businesses to start up) If you have stamping friends, please can I ask you to encourage them to take part? I will be sending each genuine participant a small token of my appreciation for taking the time out to fill in the survey.

From now on, I will daily post my performance against target so each of you can track my progress towards reaching the goal of 100 surveys.
