Guilty Pleasures

 

These arrived today - my first set of very expensive Copic Markers. Looks like I'll need a blender pen too, so I'll have to wait until I manage to order one of those before I can use these properly! I wish I'd know that before I had bought them. I did have a quick play with them, but it became clear very quickly that these need the blender pen to achieve the results that other people get with them.

Brayer Girl - jump right in & play with them. At the Copic certification class we learned that the blender doesn't blend, it erases/removes. While there are some neat tricks that you can do with it, it isn't required for getting coloring/blending down.

The other big ah ha moment from certification class is when you use your highlight, base color & shadow and blend all together with the highlight, the predominant color will be the base color.
