These arrived today - my first set of very expensive Copic Markers. Looks like I'll need a blender pen too, so I'll have to wait until I manage to order one of those before I can use these properly! I wish I'd know that before I had bought them. I did have a quick play with them, but it became clear very quickly that these need the blender pen to achieve the results that other people get with them.
If you live in the UK and have been searching for the Ecoline Inks that Stamping Mathilda (Godelieve) uses in her work, I've just found an on-line source for ordering them yourself! Graphicus have them available to order at £2.10 a bottle. I've ordered a few this morning, including the more expensive Gold Ink at £4.30 a bottle. Can't wait to have a go at playing with them!
Also today I made a wonderful discovery. On a trip to Tescos, I came across a box of 100 sheets of Matte Coated 'General Use' Picture Paper for £5.00. This paper isn't photographic paper, but it is photo quality paper. It's amazing stuff, perfect for printing computer generated background paper! The crispness of the image and the intensity of the colours it produces is simply wonderful and the fact that it's a slightly thicker weight paper is also a bonus! It's not as thick as Photographic paper but it is thicker than normal paper which makes it perfect for making things out of and covering things with!

They are all gorgeous and innovative as always! My favourite seems to be 'Obscure' which has a faint feel of Teen Culture, and would probably be good for scrapping Teenage pictures. I just like the Graphic feel and look of this particular range. My second favourite is 'Mellow' which has a distinct Autumnal feel. But then again, I love the cool blues, lime and greens of 'Periphery' which also has a Bird motif running through the Range. Hmmm, will soon be time to get out the Debit Card again I think.....
